Croatia, New Zealand sign deal to eliminate double taxation

ZAGREB, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Croatia and New Zealand have signed an agreement to eliminate double taxation and avoid tax evasion, the Croatian Ministry of Finance said in a statement on Thursday.

The agreement was signed during the visit to Wellington by Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Marko Primorac, the statement said.

According to the statement, the agreement creates a more predictable and business-friendly tax environment, easing cross-border operations and supporting stronger trade flows between the two sides.
