(251107) -- SHANGHAI, Nov. 7, 2025 (Xinhua) -- An exhibitor shows a honey product at the booth of a New Zealand honey brand at the Food and Agricultural Products exhibition area during the eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE) in east China's Shanghai, on Nov. 6, 2025. Manuka honey is a signature variety of New Zealand honey. Its nectar plant, the Manuka tree, is a unique species that is only found in a few countries in the Southern Hemisphere, most notably in North Island of New Zealand. The uniqueness of this honey lies in its highly nutritious contents and very limited annual yield.
Many New Zealand companies brought the Manuka honey to the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE). These enterprises are "old friends" of this international event and have been continuously introducing various Manuka honey and related products to the Chinese market. (Xinhua/Liu Jiaqi)
