WELLINGTON, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand Foreign Minister Winston Peters and British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper held a dialogue in London on Tuesday to highlight cooperation and partnership, according to a New Zealand government statement on Wednesday.
The statement quoted Peters as saying on Tuesday that relationship with Britain is "one of New Zealand's oldest and most important international partnerships."
"In the current adverse strategic environment, the UK-NZ relationship is only becoming more and more important," Peters said, adding discussions included bilateral security as well as economic and strategic cooperation.
